Wireless OLED Picture Frames From Kodak
A what LED? An Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) – In a nutshell this means thin and expensive but most of all cool as a cucumber.
The clever people at Kodak have been very busy designing a picture frame for those with very large pockets. The technology is interesting but unfortunately for us mortals still a way off being mainstream, Kodak first introduced this 7.6″ OLED screen a few months ago and has enjoyed glowing reviews.
Because of the OLED screen the colours from pictures are superb and the best bit is you can view them at any angle. The built in Wi-Fi means it can stream photos your PC and like a lot of modern frames it won’t hesitate to playback video and music files. The frame can also access Kodak Gallery (Kodak’s photo sharing website) and the popular Flickr photo sharing resource.
The lucky chaps at CNET created a great video review we suggest you grab a cuppa and take a look:
Why would you want one?

I want one but I cant see the powers that be at Digital Era funding my OLED addiction, perhaps Kodak will be kind enough to send us a sample for “testing”….
