The latest media player to arrive in our "testing environment" (my front room) is from AC Ryan and based on the new and very flash Realtek SoC (system-on-chip) design. Housing this new chipset is a rather sexy metal chassis with a matt-finish. Video support is awesome and inside and out is very well laid out, don't take my word for it top network media player and NAS community website mpcclub.com had the following to say:

Q: Does Playon!HD support DTS? A: The Playon!HD supports DTS Digital Passthrough via SP/DIF (SP/DIF Coax, SP/DIF Optical TOSLink, HDMI*). For DTS Downmix to stereo, please see the next question. * please note your equipment (eg. TV, AV processor) connected via HDMI need to have DTS decoding ability function in order for you to enjoy to DTS audio via DTS passthrough
Q: Does Playon!HD support DTS Downmix to Stereo? A: The Playon!HD will support DTS Downmix from mid August
Q: Can Playon!HD display simultaneously on its various video output connectors? A: Yes, you can connect 3 TV screens on the HDMI, Composite and Component video output.
Q: Can it play MKV file with embedded subtitles? MKV file with separate subtitles files (.SRT, .ASS)? AVCHD (.mts/.m2ts) files? DVD file with menu support? FLAC 24/96 (24bit / 96KHz)? WMA 10 PRO? Yes yes yes etc full spec at the bottom of the page.
Q: Can I connect a USB DVD Drive? A: Yes, you can connect an external USB DVD Drive. The Playon!HD will be able to play un-encrypted DVD discs
