You’re a music lover and you want to listen to your favourite tracks anywhere in the house? Then the dLAN Audio extender is for you. This device distributes music from your PC throughout your house via the power circuit. Naturally, you aren’t restricted to just music—you can enjoy your audio collection anywhere in the house at top CD quality—in your living room, kitchen, bathroom, or even out on the patio.

Your audio network
With the dLAN Audio extender you can set up your own audio network using the existing electrical wiring in your home! Music in the living room, audiobooks in the kitchen, podcasts in the kids’ rooms—you can do it all with the dLAN Audio extender. This HomePlug adapter gives you the greatest possible flexibility in choosing your location. All you need to connect your PC or server is one dLAN duo HomePlug adapter (or other HomePlug 1.0 adapter). The dLAN Audio extender Starter Kit already contains both adapters.

Installation
- Unpack the dLAN Audio extender and connect the stereo RCA cable.
- Plug the device into a free power socket next to your HiFi system. Use the RCA cable to connect the adapter to your HiFi. Additionally, your dLAN Audio extender supports active speakers—simply use a mini-jack cable to connect them to the adapter.
- Plug the dLAN duo into a free power socket next to your PC and connect the adapter to the PC using an Ethernet or USB cable.
- Insert the included CD into your PC and install the software. This will take less than a minute. Once the installation is complete, you can use the application immediately. Play your tracks on the PC and listen to them on the speakers of your desired HiFi system or active speaker set
