The Mede8er 400X2 is a Realtek 1185 based network media player. It builds on everything the 400X gave us and together with the proven high quality of Mede8er firmware development you get a great bit of kit. Please note the 400X2 has no internal hard drive you should look at the 500X2 if you need this funtionality.

The MED400X2 is based on the award winning MED500X2 that has proved to be a winner with reviewers and users worldwide. The fanless design ensures that the MED400X2 runs super quite. The MED400X2 offers a lower cost solution for users who want a compact Media Player that is ideal for network streaming, and hosting of external USB Hard Drives. The MED400X2 has a built in Fast Gigabit Port making it ideal for network streaming of high bandwidth content. The Mede8er fully supports the very latest video codec's such as MKV-H264, BDMV, BDISO, M2TS for seamless playback of all supported media files. You can now pass full HD Audio streams via HDMI to your amplifier for a full 7.1 surround sound experience.
